I am off to enjoy my family, lots of food, a few Christmas movies, more food,
hopefully some games, oh and more food!

A perfectly delightful week!

 Last week started off with a 36 hour road trip to LA. My friends/business partners (sara and amy) and I drove up to LA for a business meeting with the new manufacturer of our lip gloss! The meeting went really well and there are exciting things in the works. The trip included some great shopping, eating, brainstorming, and good conversation. I had a great time, and a deffinate highlight was stopping for lunch and spoting this handsome man (of which I am a huge fan) eating just a few booths away!

 Tuesday night I went to Gammage with my friends and saw the 1st ever premier of "Happy Days". It was such a cute play, lots of great music, and good laughs. You can't go wrong with the fonz ;) We had a great time! I love my season tickets at Gammage, its always a fun girls night... let me know if you want to come with us next year!


Wednesday I learned from my sweet cousin Jessie how to make her families delicious cinnamon rolls! I have been wanting to learn this forever but yeast scares me:) So i watched her closely and took lots of notes... I am happy to say that I attempted to make them myself Sunday night, and I must say they were very yummy and yeast is not that scarey after all! I am kicking myself for not taking a picture of my first batch, guess thats a good excuse to make them again. Thank you Jessie!

Then there is Thursday (*insert huge delightful sigh here). Twilight. Need I say more? I am in love with the movie. We went at about 6pm on Thursday night to stake out our places in line. We had a really fun time of the six hour wait, playing cards, talking, eating, and anticipating. We ended up going to the cinne capri, and it was so fun to see it (edward) on the super big screen. Should I be embarresed to say that I have seen it three times already? And I'm pretty sure I haven't had my fill yet. Anyone want to go?

Friday was more Twilight, and Saturday was date night with some good friends, including almond gelato from a new found delicious little gelato shoppe not far from home. Like I said, a perfectly delightful week! Hope yours was just as good :) xoxo

A little Very Merry

I am so excited for the very merry feelings of Christmas starting to lurk in the air (don't tell anyone but I already put White Christmas in my station list on Pandora)! I am looking so forward to Thanksgiving weekend, having relaxing time with the family, black Friday, and then DECEMBER! Which means Christmas everywhere, and lots of family birthdays including Merrill! Can you believe she will be ONE in just a few weeks?!? Where does time go, I'll take a jar of bottled time for Christmas if anyone is looking for something to get me (*wink).

Speaking of delightful Christmas spirit... I just released my new Very Merry Collab kit today! I had so much fun making this kit with my friend Britt (Britt-ish Designs)! It is such a fun kit full of vintage, earthy goodness!

Defeat!! Defeat!!

Thank you all for your interest in going to see Twilight together! When Tangie and I originally started the application process to rent a theater it was for 102 people. The manager at AMC had approved this, and so we were on our way! :) However, we heard from their corporate office yesterday and they would only allow rental for a theater of 272 people!!! WHAT?!?! Thats a lot of peeps :) Unfortunately I feel like this is WAY to much of a commitment, so we will be unable to rent the theater (anybody else want to front the $2800 dollars on their credit card! haha!). I am so bummed, it would have been REALLY fun!

We are still going to have a big group going to the midnight showing at AMC... Let me know if you want to come play along, the more the merrier! Hope to see you there!

Twilight Anyone?

I must admit I am among those that are counting down to the big day.
Edward on the big screen. *sigh*
So here is the important question...
Will you come with me if I rent a theater?

Tangie and I have been throwing around the idea of renting a theater. It would be SO FUN! We most likely will be doing it for the premier showing on Thursday Midnight, in Mesa, at the AMC on Stapley and the U.S. 60. The ticket price would be about the same, and you would be guaranteed a seat, in a theature full of really fun people... and no waiting in line! Seriously. If you live anywhere near Mesa. COME! It will be so fun to have a big group, we throw a great party and a good time will be had by all!

Will you come? You... yes you! I want you to come. Please... you can even bring all of your friends! We need lots of people to make if work! Leave a comment and let me know if you are intrested :)
