Typical Tuesday

Could there be a cuter baby? Merrill was a little weary of the giant crab floatie at first... but she warmed up to it :) We love that the Baxters are so close now, and as an added bonus they have a pool! One good thing about AZ, its hot enough to swim through October!

I think Townsend must be going thru a growth spurt. He is not allowed to take officail naps, but latley I have been finding him asleep in the oddest places! Here he is zonked out on my bathroom floor. Poor little guy. Maybe if he didnt insist on waking up at 4:30 that morning...

What do you do when you realize you got to the Mall 45 minutes before it opened? Go to Krispy Kreme, get your self a box of origanal glazed, and sit in the parking lot enjoying warm donuts while reading Breaking Dawn. Do you see the pile of napkins? Aparently the guy at the window did not know I had full intentions of eating the whole box by myself*. ALSO of note... I started Breaking Dawn. I have been putting it off because I knew I would be incapable of putting it down once I started. Happy to report I have been spreading it out all week and quite enjoying it! Can't wait to finish!

I can't get enough of this little girl in her back pack! It's so fun to watch her enjoy preschool so much. Her she is ready to go, giving her blanket and "bear" a kiss goodbye (it's actually a rabbit named bear. I don't know?). She really is such a sweet girl.

*just kidding, i only had 2** , I decided to be nice and share.
** and by 2 i mean right then (in the parking lot). The actual number since then will not be disclosed.

plus a couch (and floor) full of good friends equals a really great Friday night. I am not much of a TV person. At all. But I do a love a good laugh and this does it for me. The next morning my mom asked "is it really THAT funny?" Apparently we kept her up all night laughing. Yes mom, it really is THAT funny. Good times.

Other weekend highlights included:
- Merrills first tooth! Her little tooth popped thru Saturday morning. I better enjoy that gummy smile (see below) before its gone...
- Watching this about 200 times. Whenever I am at the computer Province comes to sit on my lap and asks for "bop top?". I have to get video of her dancing to it. Hee-larious.
- ASU football game Saturday night, Tim went to the game and I got to go scrap with good friends.
- Sunday dinner with the Baxters. Love my family so nice to have them back :)

My latest page made with this beautiful new kit from Britt! How much do you love freshy baby toes? I just really want to bite them. What is the overwhelming urge to bite and squish little baby parts? Cheeks, toes, gummy smiles. I could eat them all.

I am a storyteller!

As you know, one of greatest passions in life is digital scrapbooking. I am so grateful to be involved in an industry that gives me a much needed creative outlet, and at the same time preserves memories and documents my kids childhood (all centrally located on my mac!).
I am very excited to announce that I have been offered a position as a designer at {we are} storytellers. This is beautiful shoppe with amazing designers and wonderful high quailty products. Typical Tuesday

Province headed out to her first day of preschool! She was so excited to have her Disney Princess back pack (scored that for $6.99 at target the night before, i heart target). It is the cutest preschool I have ever seen. It's in a historic house near where we used to live and its a little kids paradise. Between that and the wonderful teachers... no wonder she was so excited to stay!

This is the all to familiar seen when I realize I have taken one to many pictures :) We were taking the long overdue pink chair pictures and Merrill had enough. She wanted to make sure I knew she was done. I only snapped a few more, I promise.

Green Bean Casserole. The BEST thing to do with leftover mashed potatoes, and one of my all time favorite comfort foods. So easy, here's how: Brown ground beef with a chopped onion, season with salt, pepper and seasoning salt. Combine with one can tomato sauce, and place in the bottom of a baking dish. Layer on a can (or two) of green beans. Then layer on leftover mashed potatoes (I heat them in a microwave for a bit first to get them warmed). Top with grated cheese. Place in 350 degree oven for about 20 min until cheese is melted and potatoes are heated through. Oh my, so yummy... try it!
